Supportive Care knows that our services are only as strong as our staff. We take great care in training and supervising our staff so that they can deliver state of the art services to individuals with a serious mental illness. This means that they must have a strong working knowledge of how mental illness impacts the lives of individuals – how it affects their confidence, their motivation, their functioning, their relationships, their opportunities, their quality of life.
Moreover, they must have the capacity to form a trusting, professional relationship with clients while providing creative, individualized, research-based interventions that foster motivation, goal-directed behavior, and improved functioning.
Our Clinical Director provides training and on-going supervision for all of our in-home workers.
